MY ADUB EXPERIENCE

My Name Is Kami, and this is my ADUB experience!

This was my first ADUB concert ever because the Suddenly Yours tour didn’t come to my town. First i didn’t think i was going to get the tickets because my mom didn’t want to buy them, but she actually had bought them and got them for me for christmas. I invited my friend Jessica and we both got VIP. The day of the concert we left at 2:30 and the concert started at 6. When we got there, there was a small line outside for VIP holders, so we decided to go into the backway and see if we could meet any of other band members. I met Connor and Riley from Before You Exit. We got a picture with Allstar weekend’s tour bus and Before You Exit’s. Once we got inside there were only around 65 people that got VIP. Jessica and I walked around and talked to some band members and took some pictures. The soundcheck started and I was literally almost crying. Allstar Weekend was so close to us. The guys answered questions, and sang more songs. Jessica asked, “Would you ever consider marrying me?” and cameron said “Well, we’d have to go on a couple dates first, then we can see.” I was laughing so hard. Then I asked, “Whats your favorite song on All The Way?” Cam said “All the way and Do it 2 me.” Zach said “All The Way, Do it 2 Me, and Undercover.” I asked another question, “Why isn’t Michael answering any questions?” and Zach said “Because he is answering them in his mind.” It was really funny, and Michael looked at me and winked.<3

When we did the meet and greet, they were super nice. Me and Jessica gave them notes and told them to read them later. I hugged Cam and Then Zach, and then I was like “You know michael, I love you.” and he laughed and said Love you too. Jessica started crying and I said “aaaah Jess!” and Cameron was like “oooooohhhh Jess!” It was funny. After they met everyone, they went into the crowd and talked to people. I got a picture with Zach, and Michael. When I asked Cameron for one he said “I’m busy now, but I PROMISE i’ll get one after the concert! ok?”

Once the concert started, I was pumped. Sunderland performed first. I think they only performed in Portland because they are from Hood River, an hour away. So they performed, and they were amazing!! Then The After Party performed. I am in love with Brandon. and They rocked it! I loved their music. After came Hollywood Ending. I loved their cover of “What Makes You Beautiful.” Sadly I didn’t meet them, but i’m hoping soon! After was Before You Exit. Riley and Connor had beautiful voices. The whole concert was flawless.

Then, Allstar Weekend performed. Their first song was “all the way.” and for at least 10 seconds, Cameron held my hand and sang to me. I was so happy! At that moment i didn’t care if my feet hurt, or my voice cracked, I knew the night will never be forgotten. They were perfect and Zach’s voice was amazing. None of the songs are the same to me anymore, i can still see them performing when i listen to their songs. At the end, they did an encore of two songs. I was totally blown away.

After the concert we stayed for another hour. We met Kenny Greely from The After Party, Dylan Bauld from Sunderland, McKinley Kitts from Sunderland, Alan Bell from The After Party, and when I got Andy’s (from the after party) signature he messed up on my friend Jessica’s so he decided to start drawing a sunset and fields because they live in Kansas…so for me he drew an undersea drawing with fish and seaweed. You gotta love Andy. (:

I bought Sunderland’s New CD from Dylan. And Bought Before You Exit’s old and new CD’s. They were worth the money! I also got a signed poster from Before You Exit. And I got ADUB’s tour shirt.

I saw Michael onstage and so I yelled at him and asked if we could get another picture. Then I found Zach in the crowd and we got pics. Then cameron walked out from the backstage and no one noticed him except me, so i ran after him and asked for a picture and he said “of course!” and before I got it, he looked at me, touched my cheek and said “Your cheek are really cute.” I died. He signed my shirt and hugged me. I didn’t want to leave the venue, but we had to. It was 11 pm. We had been there for about 8 hours. That was the best night of my life and I will never forget it! <3

Alex’s Adub Experience

I have met Allstar Weekend a few times and my most recent one was January 16th. My friend, sister and I got to the venue and waited in the VIP line and then Rick comes out and gives us all laminates and so we wait a little bit more after that then we are finally let in, So we do soundcheck and then it was meet and greet time so I walked up to them and Cameron goes its nice to see you and hugs me and I go on to Zach and I completely forgot about the Giraffe I was going to give Cameron so after I hugged Zach I really quickly gave Cameron the stuffed animal and he thought it was cute and he showed Rick then I hugged Mikey and got the most amazing hug from him ever!! He rubbed my back and smelled really good. So I stand between Zach and Cameron and Cameron puts the giraffe on my shoulder for the pic and I get my pic taken then its my sisters turn, so She goes up and hugs Cameron, hugs Zach and while Zach is hugging her he says that he missed her (She almost cried at the end of the meet and greet) so she gives a bear to Zach and she goes up to Mikey hugs him and gives him a bear and he gets all excited and shows the bear to Cameron then she stands in between Zach and Mikey and they decide to put the bears butts back to back for the pic and Mikey thought that was wrong :P then they made the bears kiss for the pic and Mikey is like that is really wrong so they take a pic and we leave to go back outside and it starts snowing so we wait and wait then finally they let VIP in and I got front row (first time ever at an Adub show) I was so happy. The concert was amazing!! After the show the band’s were out visiting fans so I talked to Chris from Hollywood Ending and finally got a pic with him then I talked to Danny from Hollywood Ending and got a pic with him. Adub was out but they couldn’t stay for very long in the venue because it was closing so we all had to go outside so we decided to wait by the bus. Zach comes out but Rick had to take him to the bus because he was starting to get sick and Mikey was being a wuss and went to the bus. Cameron was the only one that stayed outside and took pics with fans untill Rick got him. If my sister and I didn’t move when we did we probably wouldn’t have gotten a pic with him so we stand in front of him and wait then he looks at me and says Hi, I say hi back and I asked him if he can kiss me on the cheek and he was like sure so he kissed me and after that he goes Muah! then its my sister’s turn and she goes up to him and he smiles and goes my Grey’s girls (he calls us his Grey’s Anatomy girls because we look like Meredith Grey to him) and she asked if she can kiss him on the cheek for the pic and he was like sure so I take the pic and hug him one last time then Jokingly ask him because I was nervous about what his response was gonna be….

Me: Since were your Meredith can you be our McDreamy?
Cameron: Sure, I’ll be your McDreamy anyday

Casey’s Adub Experience

I have met Allstar Weekend many times. The latest was Jan 25-26, 2012. It was amazing. They always remember me and Cameron says he enjoys watching me grow up. We hung out with them for like an hour after both shows. Cameron said their whole crew thinks me and my friends are cute…. I gave them a Lego set that my brother made an Cameron said he is going to out it together and display it in his grandmas house<3 so many other great things happened and every time I see them I am the happiest girl in re world.

Hi! My name is Jordyn and I have met Allstar Weekend twice now. My first time was back in May 2010 but I’m going to tell you about my second time! On January 20 2012 I had VIP Allstar Weekend tickets! After waiting in the rain and cold for an hour we finally got to go in to see the soundchecl! As usual they were being really cute, hot and funny! I can still play over and over in my head Cameron say “It just goes through my head…Bathroom!” in a cute voice. After that we got in the line to meet them! I was literally shaking uncontrollabley. We met some nice girls and were talking to them for a while when we finally could see them! After my mum getting Cameron looking at his muscles and flexing them on video It was my turn! I walked over still shaking and hugged cameron. He is an AMAZING hugger. He whispered into my should “Thanks for coming out” It was like he was kissing my shoulder. lol Then on to Zach who said a cute “Hi!” I was really nervous and didnt want to sound stupid so I said “hi” back. Then to mikey who also said hi and smiled. I went inbetween cameron and zach and got my picture taken. I said thank you and so did they then I got my signed poster! It was AMAZING! :)

Sarah’s Adub Experience

They were performing at the Topsfield Fair. It was 9:00am when we arrived, and the doors opened at 10:30, so we had perfect timing. We got in line when two really awesome and sweet girls, Stephanie and Kristen started talking to us. They are really funny, I thought. The loud speaker said, “And in the arena, performing at 11:00, Allstar Weekend!” We all screamed. When the doors opened a huge mob of people just starting running in like wild bulls (including me). When we got into the large building we saw that there was only enough seats for around 100 people. My heart quickly rocketed down into my stomach. What if we couldn’t see them up close? Every concert I had gone to I have been in the back. I needed to be in the front. The thing was that there had to be 300-400 people wanting to see them. Charlotte, Stephanie, Kristen and I were fearless and didn’t even bother to find seats. We just stood in the aisle at the front. Well… almost the front. We saw a VIP section, and they were the first two rows, so the security guard wouldn’t let us pass. We were still insanely close to the stage. We were closer than I had ever been at any concert. A band called Burnham opened for Allstar Weekend. I had seen them live before at the Justin Bieber concert, so I knew a couple of their songs. After they left, a cowboy looking, old, grumbly, man came out on the stage saying there would be a brief intermission before Allstar Weekend came on. I could see the door that they were coming through, so every time it opened my heart starting beating a little bit. But EVERY SINGLE TIME it was just an old man in a neon green vest.

It happened. I saw Zach’s face. My heart started beating, my mind started racing, my hands started shaking. He was actually here. They got up on stage and started singing. I can’t even remember what song they opened with I was freaking out so much. I was jumping, screaming, and just being on Cloud 9. They were there. That’s all I knew at the moment. Zach was singing amazing as always, Cameron was looking stunning and his big hands were playing that bass incredibly, and Michael was playing those things like it was nobody’s business. During “Do It 2 Me” Charlotte and I were singing the lyrics, doing what people do at concerts, and Cameron started looking at us and nodding his head. He had to have been looking at us for at least ten seconds. It was incredible. On their encore, “Journey To The End Of My Life”, the security guard let everyone up to the front. I made it pretty far in the crowd while my friends were lagging behind. I couldn’t believe how close were. I was in shock. When the band left we were not going to leave. We figured they would HAVE to come back out and talk to people. They didn’t. Actually we saw Cameron talking to a cop, looking at the suddenly smaller crowd and pointing to a girl, and he came over. The girl he was pointing at had presents, so he took them and ran. We started walking with my mom, about to go look at some rides when behind the arena were some girls.

“Let’s go out back and see if they come out!” Charlotte had brilliantly said. We all went back out there, and there were approximately 50 girls out there. We waited with everyone else, and then we noticed someone. We noticed Dillon.

“Let’s go get a picture!” I said. We walked over to him and we got our pictures taken.

“Does everyone sing you the haircut song?” Charlotte asked Dillon.

“You have no idea.” :)

I looked over for a slight second and they were there. Allstar Weekend had come out. I ran over, and Michael was standing RIGHT THERE, FIVE FEET IN FRONT OF ME.

“Hi Michael..” my voice squeaked out.

“Hey!” AHH. Michael said hi to me. Zach said they would be right back, they just had to go put stuff down. On their way out Zach gave me a high five, missed, and had to give me another. While Cameron was giving me a high five, I really wanted a hug from him because he’s my favorite member, so I did some quick thinking. I grabbed onto his hand. He kept walking though.

After about 10 minutes they came out again. Cameron came by and was giving everyone hugs.

“Can I have a hug?”

“Sure thing.” He gave me the greatest hugs ever. It was tight and warm. He then smiled and walked away. He gave me a HUG. I didn’t even believe it. Later on I questioned if I even asked him, or if I just went and hugged him. Cameron.. one of my favorite celebrities hugged ME. As Charlotte would say, that moment was “majestic”. To be honest, he smelled really good. I only hugged him for about six seconds, but it seemed like six years. I was just stuck in the moment. I was in shock. Nothing else could change my emotions. I laid my head on Charlotte’s shoulder and replay what just happened. Zach then came by, but there was way to many people to get a hug from him, but he did sign Charlotte’s phone case! They then left, saying, once again, they would be back. After minutes of just shaking, not believing how incredible this was, they came back. Their annoying manager with green hair said to get into two lines. To either meet Cameron or Zach. I had just gotten a hug from Cameron, so I really wanted one from Zach. We got in line and waited for about ten to fifteen minutes. It was my turn up to take a picture with the great Zachary David Porter. I walked up there and said hi really timidly then hugged him. I hugged him for a really long time, and he laughed at me. …. He smelled good too. I took my picture, and was just enjoying this surreal moment. Charlotte went to take a picture with him, and I was shaking so much it was impossible to take the picture.

Okay. This is crazy. There is no way I just got a hug from Cameron, and a picture with Zach. I was starting to think it wasn’t real, and I was going to wake up from this dream. After that we quickly got in the line to meet Cameron, but they left before we could even see him. It was still good though. I got a hug from him. That day was the best day of my life. They played amazing, they looked amazing, and they are amazing. I would go back to that moment any time.
